The Sense of Purpose
5 Deep is the dynamic container for new breed of provocative global social network organizations... it offers the ultimate invitation for individuals and organizations to pro-actively engage a universe of infinite possibilities... inviting them to "Wake-up to the Open-Wave" - the point just before new "life" or "thought form" emerges.
5 Deep was originally established in April 2001 as an experiment to demonstrate the perceived possibilities by applying the knowledge of "Natural Designs." This is based largely upon the wisdom of Spiral Dynamics Integral©.
The experiment that is 5 Deep, has resulted in a wide range of experiences and developments which, at this point in time, seems ready for the next phase of wider understanding of whole systems change processes, and the application of "integral technologies."
5 Deep has, to date, successfully demonstrated an application of "Integral Thinking" which is quite unique.
- We are committed to creating habitats of LIGHT which support health, learning, innovation, growth, healing, and transformation for individuals, organizations and societies.
- We apply established and cutting-edge techniques to aid sense-making, decision-making and intelligent action.
- Our larger intent is to stimulate a vibrant Global learning system and network that will achieve improved action across all sectors - and the development of individuals, in all aspects of society - with the courage, character, charisma and civility to be instruments of real change.

The Principle-based Approach
The "Principle-based Approach" is one where boundary conditions, guidelines, and criteria that hold true in all situations are structured and aligned with the subtle dynamics of Natural Systems. At 5 Deep, we are guided by this, in order to:
- To provide Insights, Reframing and Inspiration - aligned with Intent.
- Co-create the “only planet of choice” by responding to the universal principles of free will, volition and progression.
- Set our compass being to the evolutionary impulse.
- Recognize the currency of the human spirit.
- Work with our basic assumption that 80% of what we need to achieve a 1 planet intent is out there already - we just need to find, polish and utilize it.
- Humbly, in our own way, we have assumed responsibility for growing one of the most significant advisory and training companies on the planet.
